Founded in 1993 in Antakya in a modest 35 m² workshop by Eyüp Gökçe, Eyüp Gökçe Furniture began its activities in the field of wooden interior decoration. Over time, by correctly analyzing the needs of the sector and the changes in the global market, the company shifted towards nesting table production in 1995 in order to meet the increasing demand for small home furniture, especially in Middle Eastern countries. After comprehensive market research and feasibility studies, production began; by participating in international organizations and business trips, a strong export network was established.
As one of the first companies in Hatay to export nesting tables, Eyüp Gökçe Furniture quickly became a leader in the sector with its quality and affordable pricing policy. In 2004, GÖKÇESAN FURNITURE LIMITED COMPANY was established to meet the growing export demands. Our brand has continuously developed itself with the aim of promoting Antakya furniture abroad and contributing to the national economy.
Today, GÖKÇESAN operates in integrated facilities in Antakya, Kayseri, and Tokat, covering a total area of 20,500 m², with a monthly production capacity of 10,000 sets of products. In 2016, a wooden draft element factory was established in Niksar, Tokat, with the aim of reducing transportation-related costs and providing employment in the region.
Our company, which combines classical lines with modern interpretations in its production, embraces the historical importance of Antakya in furniture making and reflects this cultural heritage in its products. The spirit of Antakya, which has been identified with furniture production since ancient times, lives on through a heritage that stretches from the throne of the Hittite King to the pulpits of the apostles of Jesus and the craftsmanship of Habib-i Neccar.
